Sunshine Coast: Silent Meditation Retreat 27-29 Oct 2017
Brahmachari Shraddhamrita Chaitanya (one of Amma's senior disciples) will be holding a Silent Weekend Retreat on the Sunshine Coast in October.

The Retreat will be held at the beautiful Buddhist Centre, Chenrezig, which offers a wonderful meditative atmosphere. More information on the retreat timetable will be coming soon.
We have managed to keep costs as low as possible to make it accessible for as many people as possible. There are various on-site accommodation options which are likely to fill up fast so please reply book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.
When: Evening of Friday October 27 - Afternoon of Sunday October 29
Where: Chenrezig Institute Wellness Centre - 33 Johnsons Rd, Eudlo, Sunshine Coast
Cost: $128 or $108 concession (Full time student card or Health care card must be provided)
This fee covers the retreat program and all meals - Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch & dinner and Sunday breakfast and lunch.
Accommodation: There are various on-site accommodation options available. Please book with us ASAP to avoid disappointment. Once a room is allocated it must be paid for via the Amma Australia website to secure the booking.
Rainforest Dorm - 5 beds - $27 per night
Male Dorm - 3 beds - $27 per night
Female Dorm - 3 beds - $27 per night
Sangha House x 2 single rooms $60 per night
Lotus House - 4 x twin rooms - $40 per person per night
Retreat Hut (shared bathroom) - 3 huts with 1 bed in each, additional bed can be added to make it twin share - $70 for single person, $100 for twin share

You may elect to stay off site but it is preferable to stay at Chenrezig. This retreat is not suitable for children.

About Br. Shraddhamrita
Brahmachari Shraddhamrita Chaitanya first met AMMA in 1989 and has been living at Amma's ashram in Kerala, India since 1993. He received Brahmacharya initiation (the equivalent of becoming a monk) from AMMA in 1997.
He has a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and had worked for two years in the software industry before joining Amma's ashram. He has been actively involved in coordinating scientific research and social welfare projects in Amrita University (Amma's University in India).
He had toured Europe conducting satsangs, retreats, meditation sessions and question-answer sessions. He is currently the national coordinator of the IAM Technique meditation groups in India.
