This year, the retreat is being held during the Easter holiday period. This is traditionally a very busy time on the Gold Coast. Most holiday accommodation is fully booked during this period with most of them requiring a minimum 3 or 4 nights stay. Therefore, we recommend that you contact your chosen accommodation directly as soon as possible to secure your booking and establish any special requirements they may have.

Transport to Public Program & Retreat Venue
Tallebudgera Recreation Centre is located right on the beach at Palm Beach, on the Gold Coast, Queensland. It is Amma’s only beach retreat in the world and will provide an ideal atmosphere for the first retreat of the 2010 Australian tour. The centre is less than 10 minutes drive from Coolangatta airport, 1 hour from Brisbane and 1 hour from Byron Bay.
There are several alternate ways to reach the retreat site from the Brisbane International or Domestic Airport. Perhaps the easiest is to catch the train from the airport to Robina station on the Gold Coast, then a taxi (or public bus) to the retreat site at Tallebudgera.
Or alternatively, you may opt to take a private “door-to-door” bus service. These busses operate from the Airport and deliver you directly to your accommodation.
