Ashram Settlement - Dec 18th
It is with Amma's Grace and blessings that settlement on the Australian Ashram at Carrum Downs occurred last Monday. Many issues were still being sorted out right up to the last minute and as this email goes out many people are still working hard to tie up the loose ends. Our heartfelt thanks goes to those who have taken on a huge workload to ensure Amma's request be fulfilled. If you haven't yet thought about it please consider how you could assist either by attending working bees, attending programs at the Ashram or with financial support such as was suggested in the Open Letter that was sent out recently.

Christmas Carols - Dec 23rd
Saturday 23rd December starting at 5 p.m
Carols by candlelight and Bhajans followed by a feast (please bring a plate to share) will be held at the Ashram, 842 Frankston-Dandenong Road, Carrum Downs this Saturday night.

Sponsor a Coin/New Year Event
Sunday December 31st.
A very special program is planned for New Year's Eve starting at 8pm. The evening will begin with the preview screening of the film "Darshan"** followed by a special ceremony where 108 coins will be offered to Amma during the chanting of Amma's 108 Names. These special blessed coins are then kept wrap in yellow paper or cloth and can be kept in your purse, blessing your money for the coming year. After the ceremony people may sponsor coins for themselves as well as family and friends for $11 each and funds raised will go towards the Ashram. The evening will conclude with bhajans and meditation.
Please bring a plate to share for light refreshments during the evening.
** Darshan was filmed on location with Amma for over 12 months and was screened at the Cannes Film Festival.**

January Meeting
Saturday 20th January, 3 - 5 p.m.
The first meeting for 2007 will be held at the Ashram starting at 3pm. Items on the agenda include supporting the operation of the Ashram and setting up an annual calendar of events. If you have an agenda item to include please let us know by return email or by phoning 03 9782 9398 (if leaving a message please leave your name and phone number and we will call you back as soon as possible).
