Annual Amma Fundraiser - Old & Gold Festival

Despite the cold, the 2014 Old and Gold Fundraiser was once again a lovely day for us all to come together, raise some money for Amma's charities and be a reminder of the work that Amma does all around the world.

Thank you again to those who donated items, helped with the set up and pack-up, and donated their time to staff our stall at the Old and Gold this year

Archana (Worship through the repetition of the names of God)

Picture of cover of Amma's Sri Lalitha Sahasranama CD

Amma encourages the chanting of Sri Lalita Sahasranama (the Thousand Names of the Divine Mother) in groups (and, ideally, daily). Amma has always given great importance to the chanting of the Sri Lalita Sahasranama and says that when the Lalita Sahasranama is chanted with devotion, all obstacles are removed towards the path to liberation.

Sunday morning monthly Archana  - 9.00 am.
Jennifer's, 19 Lismore Road, Bangalow

Dates: August 17th, September 21st

Please note that it is important to arrive a few minutes prior to the start time, as the chanting will commence promptly and it is difficult to join in once the chanting has started.  It is not necessary to know the chants; we are all working together to learn Archana.  It takes about an hour and a half to complete.
